Recently, Jim McCarthy, the deputy director of the Port Alberni Shelter Society took some time to talk with On The Island CBC host, Gregor Craigie, about the Port Alberni Shelter Society (PASS) and our work to help the community. Jim highlights the importance of our Overdose Prevention Site (OPS), Sobering Centre and our Therapeutic Recovery Centre at Shelter Farm. The main takeaway is that PASS is so much more than just a shelter!
