That’s right! Whether you live in Port Alberni or Parksville, now is the time to sign up for our summer CSA weekly harvest vegetable box program. Community Supported Agriculture – or CSA – is a model of farming and food distribution that connects consumers directly with local farms like Shelter Farm.
Our Summer Subscription features some of our best fresh produce like: strawberries, zucchini, patty pan squash, lettuce, salad mix, peppers, eggplant, tomatoes, cucumbers, kale, cabbage, kohlrabi, broccoli, corn, turnips, potatoes, beets, carrots, brussel sprouts, chard, mustard greens, parsley, dill, chives, oregano, thyme and mint. Our harvest boxes have ideal ingredients for grilling, picnics, potlucks and for entertaining guests.
