A Therapeutic Recovery Community (TRC) is a proven approach for recovery to help people develop life skills, tackle addiction, re-enter the community and workforce. There is no TRC exclusively for women in Western Canada and the Port Alberni Shelter Society is interested in developing a TRC for this vulnerable sector of our society.
