The new year comes with some new beginnings. We would like to extend a special welcome to Ryan Davis, our new Shelter Farm Manager.
Ryan says, “I spent most of my childhood in the Kootenays but graduated in Alberta. My love of farming stems from the years I spent on my grandparents’ 10 acre farm in Wyndell, BC. I have worked in the non profit sector for over 10 years. I was excited to work for Shelter Farm because I love working with people and being part of their growth and recovery journey.” (Photo of Ryan above with one of his 3 dogs, Maven).
While we are excited to welcome Ryan, we are also saying goodbye to Riley Forbes, who has played a meaningful role at Shelter Farm. Riley’s dedication and care helped shape the farm into the place it is today, and we are deeply grateful for his time and energy. We wish you all the very best, Riley!
