Many pet owners who are experiencing homelessness encounter challenges when trying to access pet-friendly services or housing – but not at PASS! We’re pet-friendly!
Approximately 1 in 10 people experiencing homelessness have pets. Research has shown that pets provide unconditional love, companionship, a sense of responsibility, and in some cases, a reason to live. Pets can also be a motivator to reduce or end substance use. It’s for these reasons that PASS makes an effort to accommodate individuals and their animals.
If you would like to support our clients with pets we are happy to receive donations of cat food, dog food, treats and other pet supplies including leashes, collars and beds.
